    Question HELP...so lost

    The failure rate for taking the bar exam in Phili is 41%. If 375 people take the bar exam, what is the mean for the number of failures?

    If the scores for a test have a mean of 70 and a standard deviation of 12, find the percentage of scores that will fall below 50.

    A coin is tossed 5 times. Find the probability of getting exactly three heads.

    Mr F says: (0.41)(375) = ....

    Mr F says: Are you meant to assume a normal distribution for the test scores?

    A coin is tossed 5 times. Find the probability of getting exactly three heads. Mr F say: {\color{red} {5 \choose 3} \left( \frac{1}{2} \right)^3 \left( \frac{1 - 1}{2} \right)^{5-3} = ....}
