    Impossible(for me) Logarithms! Please Help!

    Question 1:
    note that log_a(x) = ln(x)/ln(a),
    so you have 1/log_a(x) + 1/log_b(x) = ln(a)/ln(x) + ln(b)/ln(x) = (ln(a)+ln(b))/ln(x) = ln(a*b)/ln(x) = 1/log_ab(x).
