How would you go about deducing this?

E^X=4-3E^-X

Any help would be awesome, thanks

$e^x=4-3e^{-x}$
multiply both sides by $e^x$ :

$(e^x)^2=4e^x-3$

$(e^x)^2-4e^x+3=0$

this is a quadratic with $X=e^x$
