I just got an answer from jevon, and it was just what I was looking for. Unfortunatly my daughter fell asleep before I could explain, although his explanation seemed alot easier then what she was tryin to do. I was wondering if I could get help with one more, that way in the morning if we get stumped, i wont have to do all this incase there isnt time.
The problem is
(4.6x10 to the 5th power)(9x10 to the 4th power) divided by3x10 to the 6th power
If I can have it step by step as before it would make my life so much easier.
I appreciate it in advance.

hi there,
(4.6x9/3) x ( 10 to the power of (5 + 4) 6 ) should do the trick
The rule of indices should be used to solve such problem
I hope it helps.
