Hello my name is Matt

I was assigned a Quadratic Functions Assignment
I have to find my own data from the internet I need data that will make a parabolic path ...for example a ball falling or being thrown...it has to be a real life thing and it cant be perfect for example from a text book... it has to be a picture of some sort which I can collect data from.

Anybody can help me out ? Help me find a picture and show me how you got the data for it?

For Example...
this one is from a textbook so it does not count but...

I've attached a foto from the zoo in Hannover, Germany. I've copied a coordinate system over the foto so you can easily take coordinates of points which belong to the jet of water.

Thankyou but i need a parabolic graph the whole thing. Along with the photo without the graph on it. Is that possible? , because im looking for somthing and im having no luck.

I will have to get the data from it Y and X data then make an equation for it in standard form , vertex form , and factored form. That is why i need a parabola.

The one you included is amzing and i like how you put a graph over it .. but i need the point from where it starts and falls/ends on the graph .. is that possible? .. sorry

1. You can calculate the complete parabola by those parts shown in my foto. It could be fun to complete the parabola and show that the given part fits very well into your results.

I used MS Paint in transparent mode. Then you can stack several images over each other and they stay all visible.
