    Proofs

    Use a proof by cases to show that min(a, min(b, c)) = min(min(a, b), c).

    If a < min(b,c)
    • then a<b and a<c --> min(a,b)=a and min(min(a,b),c)=a
    • then min(a,min(b,c))=a


    If a > min(b,c)
    ..... try to do it
