I came up with this while conducting a phsyics thing and I need help simplifying it...if it can at all be simplified. $\displaystyle \frac{\lfloor{\frac{1}{x}\rfloor}}{2}+\frac{2^{x-2}}{3^{x-1}}\bigg\lceil{1-\frac{1}{x}\bigg\rceil}$

Is x positive or negative ? Try to consider |x|<1 and |x|>1 separately... ? Maybe it would help ?
