Thread: Please Help rearrange

x = (3-7y)/2 make y the subject. I started by multiplying the brackets on the left by 2 but then get all confused so I dont think thats the way to do it any help appreciated....

You're on the right track.



Multiply both sides by 2 and you get:



All you need to do now is get the 3 to the left side and divide everything by -7. Can you do it?

Yep I got it now. Thanks for your help. I just took it that one step too far.
