Can someone help me with these maths.

Two students shared in the purchase of an $86 electronic calculator. One paid$26 more than five times what the other student paid. What did each pay?

(b) Helen, trying to get out of debt, paid $750 to two creditors. If one creditor demanded four times as much as the other, what did she pay to each one? 2. Let x=what the 1st one paid Let 5x + 26 = what the 2nd one paid Let 86 = total paid x + 5x + 26 = 86 Solve for x and 5x + 26. (b) Helen, trying to get out of debt, paid$750 to two creditors. Let x = amount creditor A demainded
Let 4x = amount creditor B demainded
Let 750 = total debt

x + 4x = 750

Solve for x and 4x.
