Evaluate:

x+6
x-3

when
x = 4
x = 18

Evaluate means substitute...

so when x=4 then: $\frac{x+6}{x-3}=\frac{4+6}{4-3}=\frac{10}{1}=\boxed{10}$

now you try when x=18
