Multiplying and dividing complex number help please

    Let a = 1 + i and b = √3 + i
    Find a*b and a/b
    Working out would be nice

(then convert to polar form rcisθ)
From your results, describe a quick way of
    a) multiplying two complex numbers in polar form
    b) dividing two complex numbers in polar form
    Working out here too, please.

    Thanks, help is much appreciated!

What have you tried? Where are you stuck? It would help if you showed what you've done and where you have trouble.
