I have six digits, what number am I

My hundred thousands digit is less than my ones digit, 8 greater than my thousands digit, twice my tens digit, and 4 times my hundreds digit. My ten thousands digit is 0.

I've spent an hour so far on this and decided to seek help. Thanks in advance

    read the conditions carefully.

first, hundred thousands digit is even because it is twice the tens digit.. it boils down to 0,2,4,6,8
it cannot be 2 nor 6 since it is 4times the hundred digits so it must be a multiple of 4 so the choices are 0,4,8..
but because, it is 8 greater than the thousands digit, it cannot be 0 nor 4.. and so the only number left is 8..
it is less than the ones digit and the only number greater than 8 is 9(this is your ones digit)..

    so your number is

    hundred thousands digit=a
    thousand digit=b
    since a=8+b
so a can either be 8 or 9. Since a is even a must be 8.
