Solve for X
Put everything with x in it onto one side, and everything else on the other.
So subtract bx from both sides to accomplish the first, and then add 5 to both sides to accomplish the second.
Then you can use the distributive law to factor x out of the expression you get on the LHS and then you just need to divide by the factor of x that you get as a result.
