$\frac{x+5}{3} = 10$

Multiply both sides by 3:

$\frac{x+5}{3} \cdot 3= 10 \cdot 3$

$x+5 = 30$

$x+5 + (-5) = 30 + (-5)$

$x+(5 + (-5)) = 25$

$x = 25$
