    The number of hits on a popular Web Site grows by 23% per week.
    Give the growth factor. Assume time is measured in week.

    growth by 23% translates to a growth factor of 1.23

    CAGR?

    To the OP: do they want CAGR (compound annual growth rate)?
    If yes, that would be ((1.23)^52-1)*100%.
