Using the graph of y=x^2 as a reference point, how would one graph something like y=x^2+7x+12?

It still a parabola just tranversed.

Complete the square to find it's new vertex.

Plug in 0 into y to find the new x intercepts and plug in 0 for x to find y intercept.
