    equation solving

    Is this a trick question? I am not sure if i got this correct or not, please help me.

    3/4x - 5/7x + 3/14 = 21-20+6x
    28x

    The answer I got was 1+6x
    28x

    Is this correct?

    both are correct... just see this,

    \frac{3}{4x}-\frac{5}{7x}+\frac{3}{14}=

    \left(\frac{3}{4x}\right)  \left(\frac{7}{7}\right) - \left(\frac{5}{7x}\right)\left(\frac{4}{4}\right) + \left(\frac{3}{14}\right) \left(\frac{2x}{2x}\right)=

    \frac{21}{28x}-\frac{20}{28x}+\frac{6x}{28x}=<br />
 \frac {21-20+6x}{28x}=\frac {1+6x}{28x}
