multiply the top and bottom by (c - 5) (so essentially you are multiplying by 1 and so are not changing the value of the fraction)

can you continue?

So I distribute the c-5, canceling out the fractions, leaving me with c-5+5/c-5-5 = c/c-10

thanks for the nudge in the right direction!

yes $\frac c{c - 10}$

(you should use parentheses when you type. you would type c/(c - 10)
