So do u first times the L x W x H to get the polynomials and the bring the 117 to the other side ( left side ) and then solve and get the factor?

Yes, do L x W x H, and set this equal to 117.

Then subtract both sides by 117 to get a polynomial equation equal to 0.

Use the remainder and factor theorems and/or long division to find the factors of the polynomial.

Use the null factor law to solve for x, keeping in mind that all the dimensions have to be greater than 0.
