inverse functions
Im stuck on this problem.
Find the inverse function http://edugen.wiley.com/edugen/share...=1220988536823.

I know that y-4= sq root of t and now im stuck

$y = \sqrt{t} + 4$

swap variables ...

$t = \sqrt{y} + 4$

solve for y ...

$t - 4 = \sqrt{y}$

$(t-4)^2 = y$

have you learned about restricted domains for an inverse?

if not, don't worry about it now.
