    Discount

    A shopkeeper declares a sale of computer books, giving 25% discount.If the net sale price is Rupees 714, what is its market price?
    (a)892.5
    (b)900
    (c)952
    (d)864

    If there's a 25% discount on a market price P, then the sale price will be 75% of P (since we deducted 25% of P to the initial price).
    You know that the sale price is 714. So what is the market price ?
