$\displaystyle f(x) = \frac{1}{1-x}$

$\displaystyle f(1+x) = \frac{1}{1 - (1+x)} = -\frac{1}{x}$

$\displaystyle f(1-x) = \frac{1}{1 - (1-x)} = \frac{1}{x}$

so ... what can you say about the relationship between f(1+x) and f(1-x) ?
