If function f is f(n) = f(n-1)+f(n-2).

And f(1) = 3

f(3) = 10

What is f(6) ?

Could some one help me how to solve this problem - thanks.

$\displaystyle \begin{array}{l}

f(3) = f(2) + f(1) \\

10 = f(2) + 3 \\

\end{array}$

Now solve for $\displaystyle f(2)$.

Now apply the rule to find $\displaystyle f(6)$. - Aug 18th 2008, 09:11 AMSH33
Thanks for the help.
