    Red face percent of increase?

    the first modern olympics brought in 241 participants. at the 2004 olympics there were 10,625 participants. what was percent of increase in participation from 1896 to 2004? express your answer to the nearest whole number. please explain how to get the answer. and give answer.

    Hi

    A number N is increased by X % when you add X % of N to N itself.
    The final number M is :
    M=N+(X/100)*N

    Here, N=241 and M=10625. Can you figure out what X is ?
