    Why are some users here using “In” in place of ln or Ln for the functional notation for the natural logarithms?
    \begin{array}{l}<br /> 6\ln (x) = - 4 \\ <br /> \ln \left( {x^6 } \right) = - 4 \\ <br /> x^6 = e^{ - 4} \\ <br /> x = e^{ - \frac{2}{3}} \\ <br /> \end{array}

    lnx= -4/6
    lnx= -2/3
    by the definition of logarithm

    x= e^-2/3
