These questions are not quite reasonable. There may be two answers to each. There is no convention concerning which term goes first.

You can be expected to know the Binomial Expansion, both for integers and for non-integers.

1. $\displaystyle x^{12} + 12x^{11}\left(\frac{1}{\sqrt{x}}\right) + ...$etc

1. Just as valid would be $\displaystyle \left(\frac{1}{\sqrt{x}}\right)^{12} + 12\left(\frac{1}{\sqrt{x}}\right)^{11}x + ...$etc

You do the second one.
