    I need help!!!!!

    I am stuck on a question. I know the answer is 280 but I dont know how to put it into Algebra form. Any help is appreciated.

    How many pounds of hamburger that costs $1.60 per pound must be mixed with 70 pounds of hamburger that costs $2.10 per pound to make a mixture that costs $1.70 per pound.

    How many pounds of hamburger that costs $1.60 per pound must be mixed with 70 pounds of hamburger that costs $2.10 per pound to make a mixture that costs $1.70 per pound.

    Cost of Hamburger B (70 lbs @ $2.10/lb= $147)
    Add x amount of Hamburger A @ $1.60/lb = $1.60x
    Final mixture will be (70 + x) lbs @ $1.70 = $1.70(x+70)

    Put it all together:

    147 + 1.60X = 1.70(X + 70)
    147 + 1.60X = 1.70X + 119
    28 = .1X
    280 = X
