    help!!

    please see attached question. according the website the correct answer is 'C' but I just cant get my head around it can you please explain why???

    A. Tax INCREASE = Previous Tax * Increase Rate -- Nope, just a piece of the puzzle.

    B. Seriously Silly. You cannot add 0.045 to cash. The units don't match.

    C. Refer to A. New Tax = Old Tax + Tax Increase

    D. Seriously Silly. What does * mean? Pounds squared? Units problems.

    Did you know you could throw out fake answers by simply examining the units? Very useful idea!

    oh wait, I'm wrong. you do equation A to find the 4.5% the tax will increase and then you add it to the origional tax paid aka add equation A to 622.31
