i need some help determining the vertex and the line of symetry of graphs and drawing graphs. i also need help identfying the domain and range for certain functions.

Firstly i hope your name actually isnt michael hunt, that would be a bit unfortunate.
If you have the equations in turning point form these are easy to find
turning point form: $\displaystyle (x-a)^2+k$
a is the horizontal displacement of the graph from the origin, and k is the vertical displacement. the vertex of a parabola will therefore be at (a,k)
The line of symmetry will be at x=a
domain and range is easiest to find once you have graphed the function, you just see the values of x and y for which the graph is defined.
