    Hi prashant,

    Welcome to the forum

    Always specify the problem completely. Here you want to us to solve for x, right?

    Q1)
     2x + \sqrt{2} = 3x -4 -3\sqrt{2}

    Subtract 2x on both sides:

    \sqrt{2} = 3x-2x -4 -3\sqrt{2} = x - 4 - 3\sqrt{2}

    Add 3\sqrt{2} + 4 on both sides:

    4+3\sqrt{2}+\sqrt{2} = x

    Now remember that 3\sqrt{2}+\sqrt{2} = (3+1)\sqrt{2} = 4\sqrt{2}

    x = 4 + 4\sqrt{2}

    Q2) it is similar to the above. You try to work it out and post your work here. We will help you if you get stuck.
