Hi prashant,

Welcome to the forum (Hi)

Always specify the problem completely. Here you want to us to solve for x, right?

Q1)
$2x + \sqrt{2} = 3x -4 -3\sqrt{2}$

Subtract 2x on both sides:

$\sqrt{2} = 3x-2x -4 -3\sqrt{2} = x - 4 - 3\sqrt{2}$

Add $3\sqrt{2} + 4$ on both sides:

$4+3\sqrt{2}+\sqrt{2} = x$

Now remember that $3\sqrt{2}+\sqrt{2} = (3+1)\sqrt{2} = 4\sqrt{2}$

$x = 4 + 4\sqrt{2}$

Q2) it is similar to the above. You try to work it out and post your work here. We will help you if you get stuck.
