A brief explaination would be much appreciated.

Ok here is the scenario:

Imagine a roulette wheel with 18 red slots and 18 black slots. Each spin of the wheel has a 50% chance of hitting red, and a 50% chance of hitting black. What is the percentage of hitting red an infinite amount of spins?

Unless I am misunderstanding you, you want an infinite trial with results giving you an infinite number of reds? Then your percentage is 50%. That's how the 50% figure is (theoretically) obtained from the start.

If you want an infinite number of reds in a row, the probability is 0%.
