I'm trying to rush through a pile of sub-chapters before taking a quiz tomorrow nite When you mean factor a fraction, are you saying put it in simplified form because if you are then it would be this: $\displaystyle \frac{x+3}{x-5} + 2$ $\displaystyle \frac{(x+3) + 2(x-5)}{x-5}$ $\displaystyle \frac{x+3 + 2x-10}{x-5}$ $\displaystyle \frac{3x-7}{x-5}$
