multiply each of the powers by 2 and then simplify
this is (2/3) raised to the sum of all the powers (remember, if you don't see a power written, then the power is 1). then simplify if you can2) (2/3) (2/3)^-1 (2/3)^-2 (2/3)^5
again, multiply all the powers by 33) (3xy/z)^3

here we used the rules:
$\displaystyle (x^a)^b = x^{ab}$ (this of course implies $\displaystyle \left( \frac {x^a}{y^b} \right)^c = \frac {x^{ac}}{y^{bc}}$)
$\displaystyle (x^ay^b)^c = x^{ac}y^{bc}$
and $\displaystyle x^a \cdot x^b = x^{a + b}$
