Hi can anyone help me to expand this?

(2t-10)^2 + (4-t^2)^2

Detail:

$(2t-10)^2+(4-t^2)^2$

I assume you know how to square a binomial.

$\boxed {(a-b)^2=a^2-2ab+b^2)}$

$(4t^2-40t+100)+(16-8t^2+t^4)$

Combining terms, we have:

$t^4-4t^2-40t+116$
