Canadian universities : there are 79 univerties in canada. the number in western canda is 5 more than number in eastern canada. The number in central canada is double the number in western canada. how many universities are there in each part of canada?

u = 79 = c + w + e

w = e + 5

79 = c + 2e + 5

c = 2w = 2e + 10

79 = 2e + 10 + 2e + 5 = 4e + 15

4e = 64

e = 16

w = 21

c = 42

16 in east, 21 in west, 42 in central.
