fractions; i suck at them and i just had a total blank on the most simple fraction sum.

1 - 1/9 = ?? plz help

1/5 of ?? = 6


and i have a kinda word prob,

if 5 * 3 = 4
2 * 8 = 2
6 * 3 = 3
find the value of

1 * 7 ??
