    two polynomial questions

    Please help.

    "simplify:

    1: -3x(x^2+2)


    2: (2x+5)(x^2-x-2)"

    Do you mean "expand" ?

    For the first one, it's like a(b+c)=ab+ac

    For the second one :

    (2x+5)(x^2-x-2)=2x(x^2-x-2)+5(x^2-x-2)
