Math Help - algebraic ratio

    algebraic ratio

    I was given this problem without any example/instruction, I'm 99% sure I have the correct way to solve plus the correct answer, but I'd just like someone to confirm:

    If 2x to 5y is 3:4, what is x:y

    I answer 15:8

    Yes, 15:8 is the correct answer.
