    What's the difference?

What's the difference between f(-x) and -f(x)? Here's some examples:

    f(x)=(1/3)x^3+2

    f(x)=(x-2)^2+3

    Thanks alot!!

    example

    f(x) = (1/3)x^3 + 2

    then f(-x) = (1/3)(-x)^3 + 2

    while -f(x) = - [(1/3)x^3 + 2]
