    Help needed with a simplify equation

    Hi,
    any help appreciated,

    Simplify:

    (3x)(10y^3x/5y^3 - x)+(12x^4y^2/3x^4y - 2y)(2y)

    3x(\frac{10y^3x}{5y^3} - x) + 2y(\frac{12x^4y^2}{3x^4y}-2y)

    Multiply the 3x and 2y in the parenthesis

    (\frac{30y^3x^2}{5y^3} - 3x^2) + (\frac{24x^4y^3}{3x^4y}-4y^2)

    You can now simplify the fractions...

    (\frac{30x^2}{5} - 3x^2) + (\frac{24y^3}{3y}-4y^2)

    (6x^2 - 3x^2) + (8y^2-4y^2)

    (3x^2) + (4y^2)

    3x^2 + 4y^2
