I need two stories for this equation : y÷9=8. Thanks

Here's one: Nine gorillas had to share equally a certain patch of land. After much bickering and chest thumping, the deal was made and each gorilla ended up with 8 acres. How many acres were there in the first place?

You need two stories? Well, y was blown up into nine pieces by ThePerfectHacker. Each piece had the same volume, 8 inches cubed to be exact. What was the volume of y?

Here's another one... Moo had nine utters. Each utter could give 8 gallons of milk in a day. How many gallons of milk could Moo produce in a day?

Back to math...



Multiply both sides by 9.





That is 72 inches cubed or gallons of milk depending on the story you like best.
