    Straight line graphs

Hello, I'm new to this forum and I'm very excited. I have been having problems expressing straight line equations from the form y = mx + c to ax + by + c = 0 where a, b , c are integers.

I don't know why I am experiencing problems as doing the exercise the other way around is conspicuously easy.

    But isnt y=mx+c the same as -mx + y - c = 0?
