Assuming, as above, that it is $\displaystyle \frac{4}{a+2}-\frac{5}{a+2}$, perform the subtraction just like you always do once you have fractions with common denominators - simply subtract the numerator and leave the denominator as is.
Since 4 - 5 = -1, your answer is $\displaystyle \frac{-1}{a+2}$. No factoring required.
