Thread: resize x maintain y aspect ratio

Hello, my first post here!

This is probably an easy one but the formula eludes me...

[x] = 1200 -could be any value
[y] = 1394 -also dynamic

If [x] is given the value 800 what is the formula to work out [y] maintaining aspect ratio?
