Unless your situation is exceptional, your summer is "wasted" probably because you wasted the opportunity you were given during the main school year. Suck it up, and apply yourself this time. There are far worse things than going to summer school, and your education is probably quite important to your future, so I wouldn't call it a "waste." You really need to change your outlook on things.
