Hello, lax6001

$\displaystyle 3x^2 - xy - 6x + 2y$

I cannot find what to group together. . . . . you can't?

We have: .$\displaystyle \underbrace{3x^2 - xy}\;\underbrace{- 6x + 2y}$

Factor: . $\displaystyle x(3x-y) - 2(3x-y)$

Then take out the common factor: .$\displaystyle (3x-y)(x-2) $
