    need help

    3x^2 - xy - 6x + 2y

    Please can someone help me with this? I cannot find a GCF, nor can I find what to group together.

    3x^2 - xy - 6x + 2y

    I cannot find what to group together. . . . . you can't?

    We have: . \underbrace{3x^2 - xy}\;\underbrace{- 6x + 2y}

    Factor: . x(3x-y) - 2(3x-y)


    Then take out the common factor: . (3x-y)(x-2)
