Sorry guys, just can't figure this one out, any help would be deeply appreciated.

Big numbers are just bothering.

Let $(m,n)=(4.35612454329,1.00171376961),$ the equation becomes

\begin{aligned}
m+\frac{x}{n}&=x \\
mn+x&=nx \\
x(n-1)&=mn \\
x&=\frac{mn}{n-1},
\end{aligned}

now back substitute.
