    Geometric Sequence

    x+3, x, and x-5 are three terms in a geometric sequence. Use the concept of common ratio to determine the value of the three terms.

    You know that in a geometric sequence, there is a factor in which you multiply each term to get the next one. So, if you divide two consecutive terms, you will get this factor. So:

    \frac{x}{x+3} = \frac{x-5}{x}
