    rate of work

    Hi

    I need help with this problem. I am suppose to do like a table for it or something to that extent but I am lost on it.

    Alright here is the problem.

    If 5 teachers can correct 500 exams in 30 days. How many days would it take for 20 teachers to correct 800 exams???

    Any help would be appreciated

    Thanks in Advance

    So: 1 teacher - 100 exams (/ 30 days) -> 20 teachers - 2000 exams (/ 30 days).
    2000 exams - 30 days
    800 exams - ? days
    ?=\frac {800*30}{2000}=\boxed{12 \text{ days}}.
